My Personal Profile

About Me

I’m a PhD candidate in cognitive neuroscience (experimental track) at East Tennessee State University.

My Teaching Experience

I teach Introductory Psychology at East Tennessee State University and build classes around active learning and evidence-based (SoTL-informed) practices. You’ll see low-stakes check-ins, Kahoot and form-based activities, and transparent rubrics. I have also taught the Design & Analysis lab, where I covered core statistics and guided students in creating an APA-style research poster from data to presentation. This semester, I’m a teaching assistant (TA) for Cognitive Neuroscience, supporting lectures, assessments, and student learning. My goals are simple: inclusive, engaging courses that build scientific thinking, data literacy, and clear APA-style writing.
